Family Vacation 2022 - Resurgo Place, Moncton, New Brunswick

Okay...so in my last post, I said when we were at the zoo that it was the hottest day of the year and that was true....until the next day when temperatures reached near 50 degrees with the humidex in some areas. It was insane; and Moncton is not a big city by any stretch but it's still a city - concrete and brick everywhere, which makes the heat a million times worse!
It was our last full day of vacation so we knew we didn't want to just sit around...so we needed to find SOMETHING to do! I posted on my Facebook asking for suggestions and friend of mine mentioned a local place called Resurgo. I had never heard of it so I decided to check out the website. It looked like just the solution!
We decided to check out the Transportation Discovery Center. It's a fun, interactive, hands on place for kids of all ages where you can try experiments, build things and explore. It was perfect and my kids loved it!
"Shipbuilding, railway and aviation have played a major role in the development of Moncton as a city and as a commercial center since the early 19th century. Imagine travelling through time by air, rail and sea as you discover Moncton’s moving history. The Transportation Discovery Centre features an array of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for all ages."

I've been to Moncton about a hundred times in my life but to be honest, I didn't know anything about it's history. It was actually really cool to learn about it.
Here are some of our adventures to Resurgo Place!

Must have been an interesting visit! But temperature of 50 degrees? Thank God that was the last day you spent there. Who knows, it may have become hotter.
Yeah. It was insane. Luckily that heatwave is over and temperatures are back to normal now. And people say that Canada is cold? haha :D
Thank you for your support!
