Orange is the new black

Hello 😄!

Today I bring you this photo series with this beautiful girl. Working with her was amazing because she has a lot of charisma and confidence—she’s currently studying to become a professional classical ballet dancer. I’ll be sharing more about that later.😉

For now, I want to show you these other images, filled with warm tones that highlight her lively attitude, the beautiful color of her skin, and her curls!

The outfit we used this time was simple, but with one key detail: the orange vest. I wanted to create a strong contrast against the green of the trees and the urban background. The rest of the outfit was kept pretty minimal: beige shorts, a basic t-shirt, a white beret, and white boots. That way, the visual focus stayed on the orange vest. When you play with combinations like this, you realize that a single color can completely change the way an image is read.

The location was one of those spaces where, even though cars and people are constantly passing by and we had to pause the session every now and then, it still works perfectly to capture calm portraits. That’s something I really enjoy about this kind of outdoor photography—you don’t need big productions. Sometimes, just a random spot in the city and a well-thought-out outfit are more than enough to create impactful images that draw attention.
