"Enchanted"

"Enchanted", is a group of photos that I took some time ago but they are perfect for these dates close to Halloween.
This is a theme that I really like to work with, although I usually tend to go a bit more Dark when I deal with fantasy, but why not, also from time to time, a princess may appear in the story. The models who collaborated with me are @aylenmp and Darlene. Thank you very much gorgeous!
The photos were taken in the Havana Forest, an environment that absolutely lends itself to this type of work, because the light at sunset sneaks through the tall trees giving the place a truly magical feeling.
In fact, it is a place that is used for Afro-Cuban rituals due to its proximity to the Almendares River, so it is common to see groups of people performing their own activities with their specific costumes.
They say that as one grows older, or at least increasing in age, because this growing up does not go with my 5'21" height (159 cm)... one abandons fantastic ideas, stops believing in the existence of gnomes, fairies, unicorns, to put your feet on the ground and live the reality. However, on the other hand, they tell you to believe in things you don't see, in political and/or religious ideals, in trusting people, they sell you movies, science fiction series or simply fiction... in short, they create a world very similar to that which is supposedly forbidden when you reach a certain age, under the risk of being "weird" and socially unadapted.
It makes me laugh 😆.

"Enchanted", es un grupo de fotos que tomé hace un tiempo pero me parecen perfectas en estas fechas cercanas a Halloween.
Esta es una temática que me gusta mucho trabajar, aunque generalmente tiendo un poco más a lo Dark cuando trato con las fantasía, pero porqué no, también de vez en cuando, puede aparecer alguna princesa en el cuento. Las modelos que me colaboraron son @aylenmp y Darlene. Muchas gracias bellas!
Las fotos las tomamos en el Bosque de La Habana, un entorno que se presta absolutamente para este tipo de trabajo, pues la luz en el atardecer se cuela entre los altos arboles dotando el lugar de una sensación realmente mágica.
De hecho, es un lugar que se utiliza para ritos de tipo afrocubano por su cercanía al Rio Almendares, así que es frecuente toparnos con grupos de personas efectuando sus propias actividades con sus vestuarios específicos.
Dicen que a medida que uno va creciendo, o al menos aumentando en edad, porque esto de crecer no va con mis 5'21" de altura (159 cm)... uno va abandonando ideas fantásticas, deja de creer en que existen los gnomos, las hadas, los unicornios, para poner los pies en el suelo y vivir la realidad. Sin embargo, por otro lado te dicen que creas en cosas que no vez, en ideales políticos y/o religiosos, en confiar en las personas, te venden las películas, series de ciencia ficción o simplemente ficción... en fin, crean un mundo muy parecido a ese que supuestamente está vetado cuando llegas a determinada edad, bajo el riesgo de ser rara y socialmente inadaptada.
Es me da mucha risa. 😝
