Beach portraits 🌊

There is a phrase that is very popular in our country, and it is that Cuba is an eternal summer. On our small island, there is only one climatic season, as it is usually hot or very hot 😅. So going to the beach or to the coast is an activity that most Cubans often do, especially those of us who are so close to the sea, as it happens in Havana, which is the city where I live.

So it is, therefore, that the sea becomes a special guest in many photo shoots.
On this occasion, I bring you these images, taken in one of those spaces in our city, where we can approach and find sea and sand.

The photos were taken under an embracing sun, so my best ally in this case was a speedlight flash with a diffuser. A bouncer could also have been a very good option, given the amount of sun.

Hay una frase que es bien popular en nuestro país y es que Cuba es un eterno verano. En nuestra pequeña isla, solo existe una estación climática, pues generalmente hay calor o mucho calor. Así que ir a la playa o a la costa es una actividad que la mayoría de los cubanos realiza a menudo, sobre todos aquellos que tenemos tan cerca el mar, como sucede en La Habana, que es la ciudad donde vivo.
Así es, por tanto, que el mar se convierte en invitado especial de muchas sesiones fotográficas.
En esta ocasión, les traigo estas imágenes, tomadas en uno de esos espacios de nuestra ciudad, donde podemos acercarnos y encontrar mar y arena.
Las fotos fueron tomadas bajo un sol abrazador, así que mi mejor aliado en este caso fue un flash speedlight con un difusor. Un rebotador también podría haber sido una muy buena opción, dada la cantidad de sol que había.
