A princess in her castle, that's what we aimed to recreate in these photos. We transported ourselves to another era, other times, or perhaps other realities.

She looks stunning in the breathtaking dress that seems to be straight out of a fairy tale book or history. In her gaze, she gives off a halo of nostalgia that works in our favor with a theme that recalls past moments, although idealized by the beauty of the costumes and the splendor of those who could indeed live this way, it somewhat forgets the fact that women were barely decorative objects of the salon, in addition to the endless poverty that regularly existed beyond the walls of castles, palaces, or manor houses.

The environment in which she is photographed is one of those places that Havana has, which are impressive in their architectural beauty and still maintain a high level of preservation. Having recreated these scenes here adds a greater degree of realism that we wanted to accentuate with the editing, treating the image as if it were an old photo, which you happened to come across one day while rummaging through the forgotten family photo boxes.

Una princesa en su castillo, es lo que tratamos de recrear en estas fotos. Nos trasladamos a otra época, otros tiempos, o quizás otras realidades.

Ella, se ve hermosa en el impresionante vestido que parece sacado directamente de un libro de cuentos o de historia. En su mirada, entrega un halo de nostalgia que nos juega a favor con una temática que rememora momentos pasados y que, aunque idealizada por la belleza de los vestuarios y la fastuosidad de los que sí podían vivir de esta manera, olvida un poco el hecho de que las mujeres apenas eran objetos decorativos de salón, además de la infinita pobreza que regularmente había de los muros de los castillos, palacios o casas señoriales, hacia afuera.

El entorno en el que está fotografiada, es uno de esos lugares que tiene La Habana que son impresionantes en su belleza arquitectónica y que aún se mantienen con un alto nivel de conservación. Haber recreado aquí estas escenas, le aportan un grado mayor de realismo que quisimos acentuar con la edición, al tratar la imagen como si fuera una foto antigua, que casualmente encontraste un día revisando en las cajas olvidadas de fotos de la familia.
