#ChristmasInHK2022: Christmas Winterfest At Kowloon Art Park

In my entire stay here in Hong Kong, one thing I like when the holiday season arrives are the Christmas theme displays in all parts of the country. The malls, parks, hotels, and others else are transforming into magical wonderlands. Things get more exciting once festive lights are lit up in different places, and Christmas music fills in the air. Expect giant Christmas trees and grand and stunning decorations where Santa and your favorite Christmas characters are present. This makes the Christmas season so magical, exciting, and memorable. From some point of view, it only shows how rich this country is.

There are a lot of Christmas theme displays here but I can't visit them all. But I did visit some and here are my top Christmas installations.

Some of them were already shared here. The Santa Clause Village was such a cute place and I was able to visit the replica of Santa Village in Arctic Finland. It's just saddening that I wasn't able to make a letter that'll be sent to a real Santa village in Finland.

After getting lost in direction and discovered Sky Corridor on one weekend, I went to Art Park to visit the Christmas installations. Here's the top 1 in my Hong Kong's Top Theme Christmas Displays 2022.

#ChristmasInHK2022: Christmas Winterfest At Kowloon Art Park

Located in the West Kowloon Cultural District is Art Park which now turned into Christmas Winterfest ground. Getting in was a bit challenging as I needed to queue in a long line. It was the weekend when I visited the place so it was expected to be too crowded. Some were just even taking photos outside as they doesn't want to line up. I waited until I get in and stayed inside until night. Only a certain number of people were allowed inside as not all in the line weren't able to enter at the same time.

It was past five in the afternoon when I was able to get in and of course, the first stop to take photos with was the giant Christmas tree which is the main attraction in the Winterfest ground.

This 20-meter giant Christmas tree stands stunningly with its shimmering lights and decorations. The lights synchronized with the Christmas music and kept shifting colors like in a rainbow and the last was a combination of all colors.

Around the giant Christmas tree are small ones that also synced with the music. Kids and adults sang along with the Christmas music and danced to the motion of the Christmas lights.

There are a lot of gift boxes as well that kids seemed to want to open. Even I was curious about what are inside those boxes.

Rudolph, the reindeer, and Santa's sleigh were there too with big boxes of gifts ready to be given to kids.

Meanwhile, big Christmas balls look elegant hanging at the corners.

A red car was parked near the entranceway with a giant stuck bear inside with Christmas balls and lights.

And more installations that are perfect backdrops for photoshoots.

Aside from Christmas installations, the harbor itself is another beauty to behold at night. There are different attractions in this area too, including some popular museums, theatre centers, a plethora of restaurants and cafes, food trucks, and wide spaces for camping and family gathering.

In fact, the day I visited the Art Park, hundreds, or probably thousands of people were around. Most of them were gathering and having parties with their set-up mats and tents, food, and drinks.

This park is one of the biggest urban parks and can be crowded especially on weekends and special holidays. It doesn't only have a wide platform for camping and gathering, but also offers a stunning backdrop of the skyscrapers along the harbor.
