El jueves pasado llevé a mi esposa a una consulta médica a una zona aledaña a la ciudad en donde vivimos. Apesar de estar cerca, unos diez minutos en carro, el paisaje urbano cambió rapidamente a uno montañoso y sinuoso.

El verdor era fenomenal y el aire limpio eran como balsamos para nuestros sentidos. Imagina la sensación de paz y libertad inundandote.

Lo curioso fue ver algunas casas ocupando las cúspides de la no tan altas montañas. Bueno, unos mil seiscientos metros sobre el nivel del mar. Bastante fresco para esta época del año.

Sin duda, este ambiente de tranquilidad y contacto con la naturaleza, aunque sea parcial, contribuirá con la búsqueda de salud que anhelamos mi esposa y yo.

Last Thursday I took my wife to a doctor's appointment in an area close to the city where we live. Despite being close by, about ten minutes by car, the urban landscape quickly changed to a hilly and winding one.

The greenery was phenomenal and the clean air was like a balm for our senses. Imagine the feeling of peace and freedom flooding over you.

The curious thing was to see some houses occupying the tops of the not so high mountains. Well, about sixteen hundred meters above sea level. Quite cool for this time of the year.

Undoubtedly, this atmosphere of tranquility and contact with nature, even if only partial, will contribute to the search for health that my wife and I are longing for.
