In the PhotoFeed Contest, Round 178, with the theme Black and White, I submitted a photo featuring a green plant I found in a rice paddy that had long been abandoned. The people in my village call this plant Swamp Cypress, as according to some beliefs, if this plant grows in the rice paddy, the rice harvest will always fail. This photo was originally in color, but for the first time, I tried converting it to black and white using the black and white effect in the photo editing app, Snapseed.
