I visited Zurich in Spring 2012. I was on my own most of the time due to my husbands work commitments in Zurich. Wow what a city. The lake was simply beautiful. I took a boat tour and had a fabulous time. Zurich is without doubt the most beautiful city I have ever visited. If you ever get the opportunity to go, it is well worth it.

In Zürich war ich leider immer nachts und habe im Grunde von der Stadt nichts gesehen, außer meinem Hotel und dem Club, wo ich als DJ gebucht war.

Vielleicht mal einen Kurztrip wert :-) Kannst du dort eine Unterkunft und Restaurants empfehlen?

@jaki01, I really love you shared photography here. Most attractive nature captures. Zurich lake is a massive capacity of lake with huge waves. Sunset gave beautiful reflection to the water. Have you go Zurich lake safari from boat? If yes, better experience you got. Lot of foggy condition there. Boatyard has more tourism boats and given much facilities to travelers. Amazing architectural building around the lake and they have native skill for build up. Beautiful ducks there.
Another pattern of massive tree's unbelievable. But without your photogenic skill couldn't awesome any photo shots. Warming drink seems whiskey. I love rum and vodka. Thanks for inspiration.

Hallo @jaki01, das ist ein wunderschöner Artikel über Zürich. Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich ein wenig Heimweh bekommen habe - obwohl der eisigen Kälte :-). Nachdem ich vom schönen Münstertal weggezogen bin, habe ich 16 Jahre in Zürich gelebt und eine tolle Zeit verbracht - beruflich aber auch privat. Ich liebe diese Stadt, denn sowohl kulturell als auch landschaftlich finde ich Zürich wunderschön und außerdem nur ein Katzensprung von Graubünden weg. Falls wir wieder in die Schweiz ziehen würden, wäre sicher Zürich eine der ersten Optionen. Vielen Dank, dieser Artikel hat mein Herz erwärmt :-). Sonnige Grüße aus Bali

Zürich ist in meinen Augen eine wunderschöne Stadt. Nichr nur die Altstadt, auch das Stadtzentrum bietet ein tolles Flair. Du warst anscheinend auch in dem Bereich, wo die Limmat in den Zurichsee mündet. Von dieser Brücke aus ist bei klarem Wetter das komplette Alpenpanorama zu sehen. Nicht zu vergleichen mit Zurich, Konstanz bietet einen ähnlichen Blick. Von der Rheinbrücke aus, zur linken wie zur rechten Seite, zeigt sich ein sehr ähnliches Panorama. Diese beiden Städte besuche ich im Sommer öfters. Nach KN sind es für mich nur 100km, nach ZH nur 130km.
Vielen Dank dafür, dass Du mit den Fotos meine Vorfreude auf Zurich geweckt hast.

Ich war vor einigen Jahren um die Weihnachtszeit einmal dort und habe sehr schöne Erinnerungen an die damals festlich beleuchtete Stadt.

Ich selbst komme ursprünglich vom Bodensee, was nur knapp 2 Stunden von Zürich entfernt liegt. In Zürich selbst war ich natürlich auch schon, allerdings aus anderen Gründen wie den deinen :-D

Was mir natürlich direkt ins Auge gesprungen ist:

die hoffentlich originale Schweizer Ovomaltinen Schokolade :)

Völlig egal aus welchem Grund man in die Schweiz kommt, eine originale heiße Schweizer Schokolade sollte man sich auf gar keinen Fall entgehen lassen.

Those are some incredible pictures. Switzerland is a place of natural beauty and peace environment. Visiting this place by 2019 is in my bucket list. Hope by the end of this year. I'll love to catch up haha.

WOW, lieber @jaki01, da hast du mit den Bildern nicht gegeizt. :-) Einfach super, vor allem wo das Schiff im trocknen steht und gewartet wird. Das habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt. Sehr interessant. Zürich kenne ich auch ganz gut, war oft dort mit meinem damaligen Freund aus der Schweiz, der Schachspieler war und er leider gestorben ist. Sehr schöne Bilder.<3 Zürich schaut sehr interessant aus. Im Moment wäre es mir aber zu kalt. Würde gerne mal im Frühling oder Sommer hin. Bin eine richtige Frostbeule, da wurde auch ein warmes Getränk bei mit nicht nützen. ;-)

Hast wieder ein paar schöne Bilder mitgebracht. Leider hattet ihr ja wie es aussieht ein bisschen Pech mit dem Wetter und eher die ein oder andere Wolke dabei. Aber da steckt man bekanntlich ja nicht drin.

Der Witz mit dem Boot hätte übrigens natürlich auch mit der Pointe funktioniert, dass das Spaß war und natürlich beide Boote dir gehören ;-)

Das is ein schöner Spaziergang! Habe den See mal bei genau entgegen gesetzten Temperaturen erlebt, als ich bei 38 Grad "die Ehre" hatte beruflich wie eine Irre zwischen Redaktionsgebäuden hin und her zu laufen und den See dabei mehrfach zu umrunden (akute Parkplatznot). Im Sommer ist dort ein Naturfreibad an einem Hausboot und so viele Menschen saßen draußen bei einem (verdammt teuren) Kaffee um den See herum - wirkte auf jeden Fall sehr toll zum leben dort in Zürich!

Tolle Fotos, die Detailfotos von der Baumrinde finde ich besonders schön. Natürlich auch der Einblick in und um Zürich, denn da war ich noch nie. Schade mit dem Boot, daran solltest du arbeiten ;-)

Zürich ist immer eine Reise wert. Während den kühleren Jahreszeiten wie jetzt findet man auch immer eine Lokalität wo man sich aufwärmen kann. Sei es eines der vielen tollen Museen oder ein schnuckeliges Café in der Altstadt.
Trotzdem weine ich meiner alten Heimat nur eine kleine Träne nach und geniesse die Sonne und die warmen Temperaturen hier auf der Dominikanischen Republik.
Alles Gute und viel Wärme.
