POB Photo Contest: WATER - Admiring Water in the Paradise Valley Nature Reserve.

I got excited when I saw the theme for this week: WATER!

I love taking photos of water! I have a couple of favorite spots and you can go there as much as you like...but every time you go there, you'll get photos that are unique to the day.

The photo I would like to submit for this week's competition was taken on an outing to Paradise Valley Nature Reserve.

There are various hiking trails in the reserve.

The Umbilo River runs through the reserve and following one of the trails, it takes you about twenty minutes to arrive at a beautiful waterfall. This photo is my entry for the competition.

Standing just above the waterfall also provides some beautiful views. At times, a rainbow forms in the water as the sun shines on the water.

What a lovely waterfall! I'm glad I've visited my fair share of lovely ones as the trek to such a view is usually long and sometimes hard. I don't see myself being able to handle that anymore. LOL! Thank you for this lovely view. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi, @iamraincrystal! It is good if you have some fine memories of the waterfalls you visited! Yes, it takes some energy to get these waterfalls. This particular one is a hike of between 20 to 30 minutes one way, with some hills along the way. I'm glad if my photos still provide you with some views to enjoy!
