When you are looking for something to create an atmosphere in your images on the beach, what better than finding some logs that has washed out on the beach?

Then take that same (colour) image and turn it into black and white and see what happens. To me it was almost as if it is suddenly telling a whole new story with a different atmopshere. What do you think?

Then add some waves breaking over the rocks and see what you come up with...

What do you prefer? The colour photos or in black and white?

This is my first post where I am using the tag of the #colourblackandwhite community. This after being amazed by the awesome photos of @daveks (the admin for this community) since I started following him.

Greater detail from black and white, also enjoy the beach scene when logs have rolled down to the beach.

Thank you for your feedback, @ibbtammy! It's interesting to see how that same photo can tell a different story when you change it from colour to black and white, isn't it?

I appreciate your support, thank you!
