nice post, yes i remember the days where there were only land-line telephones- 1 for the entire family & even sometimes neighbors may drop-by to make a phone call- also there were those shops specialized n making phone calls where costumers pay per minute- yes phone calls weren't cheap back-then, also losing signal was very common like f a neighbor was "fixing some pipes or lines" or when a neighbor tries to fix his phone-line by himself, & to get someone from the maintenance to fix the issue u have to go to the maintenance department daily & usually it will take days & even weeks. on the wedding part- yes i agree that closer friends tend to make the invitation n a less formal way like phone calls & the chance of attending the wedding is like 99%, while for formal friends they tend to send a formal letter & usually the chance of attending/missing the wedding is close. from the photos it seems like it was a nice & a well planned wedding & obviously that u & ur family & friends had a great time with great memories to remember. good that there isn't anything critical at the hospital. have a good day
