These pictures took me back in time to when I was around your age and me and my siblings would really enjoy playing in any sort of water we could find. Yours is much cleaner though because the streams that we would play in were on my Grandparents' farm and now that I think about it, that water was probably filthy.

I love playing in water and I remember I would play in any water I could find. That also included the dirty water, but it was still fun even though I always get rashes. Have a great day.
did you ever get leeches on your skin? I would swim in creeks in an area similar to where your dad grew up and these were quite common in the dirty creeks there. I am sure he has had some experience with them but I don't know if they have them in Cambodia.
