My Legality Journey: Pre-debut shoot Concept 2 - Siren’s Charm

"Part woman, part myth, entirely untamable."

I've always been the type of person who likes doing things differently. I don't like choosing something just because everyone else is doing it. If I'm going to do something, I want it to feel like me. That's exactly how I felt while planning my pre-debut shoot.

I actually had a lot of ideas before deciding on this one. I spent days scrolling through Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook looking for inspiration. I saved so many photos and even changed my mind more times than I can count. Some concepts looked really beautiful, but they just didn't feel right. I wanted something that would make people stop for a second and think, "That's different."

Most pre-debut shoots I see are full of flowers, pastel colors, fairy dresses, or soft and dreamy themes. There's nothing wrong with those concepts because they're beautiful, but they're just not my style. I've seen them so many times that they started to look the same to me. I wanted something a little darker, a little mysterious, and something that matched my personality.

Then one day, I came across a siren-inspired photoshoot while scrolling online. The moment I saw it, I already knew that was the one. It wasn't a completely new concept, but it also wasn't something I usually see people choose for a pre-debut shoot. It instantly caught my attention, and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I don't know if it's because I'm a Scorpio, but I feel like the whole mysterious vibe really suits me. I've always liked dark aura, the ocean, and anything that feels a little magical. A siren isn't just beautiful. She's mysterious, confident, and a little dangerous. I loved that idea because it felt strong instead of just looking pretty.

Luckily, my team loved the concept too.

We decided to shoot at a beach about 30 minutes away from our house. It wasn't a fancy location, but it had everything we needed. The rocks, the waves, and the open sea made everything look so nice on camera. Sometimes you don't need an expensive place. You just need the right people and a good idea.

Speaking of people, I'm really thankful for everyone who helped me bring this concept to life. They were all so talented and patient. They listened to my ideas, gave their own suggestions, and made sure every photo looked amazing. Seeing everything come together made me even more excited.

But behind those photos is a funny story.

The water was so cold.

I had to stay in the water for quite a while, and the cold breeze kept hitting my wet skin. I was literally shivering between shots. There were moments when I just wanted to run back to the shore and wrap myself in a towel. Every time the photographer said, "One more shot," I just laughed because I knew I'd have to stay in the cold a little longer.

The funny thing is, you can't even tell from the pictures. Looking at them now, I look calm and confident, but behind every photo was someone trying not to shake from the cold. I guess that's part of the experience. Sometimes the best photos come with a little sacrifice.

When I finally saw the edited pictures, I forgot all about how cold I was. They turned out even better than I imagined. Seeing everything come together made me realize that all the planning, the waiting, and even the freezing cold water were worth it.

This is honestly one of my favorite shoots I've ever done. It's different, it's bold, and it feels like me. I didn't want a concept that looked like everyone else's. I wanted something people would remember, and I think I found exactly that.

For just one day, standing in the middle of the sea with the waves around me, I really felt like I belonged there.

Maybe I really am a siren after all.
