85 years and smart.

Age some people say is just a number but is age truly just a number? Are there things very special about age? For me , age is more than a number when you recount that the blessings of God has not forsaken you all these years.

Recently, I traveled to my hometown to see how my parents are doing and returning glory to God, they are doing well.
I didn't come to stay as I would go to work the next day so I had to leave within a few hours when I didn't get a commercial motorcyclist that could take me to the next village where I could board a taxi to the town, I had to walk and on my way in that hot afternoon, I saw my uncle.

There's something very special about this man, and celebrating him at all times and the age he had spent on earth would be seen as a blessing from God and not seen his age as just a number.

I didn't plan visiting him but I ran into him on the way and we chatted for a few minutes and took a selfie and he told me that he was rushing to go home as his children were waiting for him as that was his 85th birthday and his children had come to celebrate with him.

What is so unique about this man and his age.

This is one thing people could ask me. Let me tell you. Name by interpretation means Death leave me alone.
His parents had 12 children before he was born and all died before their 3rd birthday and he was the 13th child and when he was born his parent named him Onwụhara which meansdeath leave me alone. And indeed death got to him and let his parents alone and he's alive marking his 85th birthday in style. I only wished I had the opportunity to join them for the party.

To the man who fought in the Nigerian - Biafran war, and came back alive, to the man who death didn't take at his tender age as took his siblings, to the man who is the only surviving child of his parents and who has 7 sons though no daughter lol and with many grand children is worth celebrating.

Truth remains a secret to survive in this life.

I asked him what his secret of happiness is and he said to me always speak the truth always no matter and no matter who is involved.
Surviving in the village isn't that simple where people won't like to hear you speak the truth and surely when you are an ambassador of truth, you become fearless even before the evil men.
