Train of Light as the Light is Everywhere
Aloha Train Spotters :),
I would love to share with you very few pics I took this year, in my last travels in the UK, before I left the country, as I used to live there for couple of years.
When it comes to trains and public transport, England is the most expensive one, in Europe and I am quite sure that is in the top most expensive public transport in the entire world...
On their trains, tubes... everyone seems busy and deep down locked in their thoughts... in the end is all about running after the money, I have encountered very few people who took a moment to admire the beauty of life and of being alive. I found myself at the awe when i could exchange a smile whit someone.... when someone was out there perceiving and receiving the light!
How blessed we are, how much light is here!

Hi there lulia! UK public transport is definitely very expensive, there's been stories where it's cheaper for people to fly to Spain then up to Scotland than to catch a train directly. Crazy!
I see you create some very interesting content. Hive is very different from traditional web2 platforms and every content you create can potentially be monetised. That's why the community normally prefers not to post too many times a day as it is seen as spammy and milking the reward pool. You also don't have many following at the moment, so releasing so many of your creations so often means they won't get the exposure they deserve.
Perhaps you can consider expanding your network on Hive, there's a lot of great content creators like yourself and I'm sure you'll find their content equally interesting.

Yeah, that's absolutely true when comes to the train & tube ticket costs in the uk. It is indeed one of the most expensive public transportations on the global level.
Definitely cheaper to book flights and meet your friends in Spain or elsewhere than traveling through the UK in order to reconnect with them. That's 100% accurate.
Even with student discounts or other discounts, the UK public lines are still the most expensive. Luckily I don't have to worry about that no more as I don't live there anymore, still I find it one of the biggest scams and ripoff. It's just sad how expensive UK tickets are, and is not like is such a good & clean service...as we all know.
I strongly believe that public transport should be free. Luxembourg is the best example when comes to this topic, and if a (very small) country succeeded to offer this service for free for its citizens, inhabitants & tourists, I don’t see why other countries are unable to follow the model, but oh… now we enter in politics and all that comes along that line… and I better stop here hahaha.
Despite this I must say that I appreciate your comment & advice. Thank you & thank you that you find my content interesting.
As you can notice, on my profile, I haven't posted anything since December last year & if you pay close attention, I am not spamming nor milking anything here:) that's far away from any of my intention.
I do enjoy this platform a lot as I can see different type of content creators & amazing communities all over here.
As you for sure know, most of the communities are not accepting cross posts & they want that the content to be dedicated entirely & exclusively to their community.
Until now (December 2024) I have shared 90% of my content only on the following communities: photography lovers, black and white photography, which are the closest to my heart & very rarely on other communities such as reflections, ocd, and perhaps some poetry ones as I am a writer.
Not accessing the platform for several months & coming back now, I have found few drafts that were collecting dust & I had completely forgotten about, therefore I have shared them on few different communities. Delivering few posts a day, I see no harm in that, yet perhaps I was a bit over enthusiastic by discovering new communities on which my content would fit.
I have surfed, dived into some “rules” yet one can make a difference if I am spamming or not if really paying attention to what is what. :)
Regarding to my network, i don’t think is much i can do, i mean if anyone finds my content interesting or on ones likes they can follow me easily & engage with me as you did and others did. Or how I do.
I don’t really care about how many followers I have, as on this platform one’s visibility is across communities & shared content there, rather than the centralised social media where the algorithm pushes you further by different rules and numbers of followers and posts.
I believe everything should come organically and by time, my content will be appreciated & my network will extend.
By now I am more than happy, grateful & thankful for the few followers I have, as I find them very qualitative when it comes to who they are and what they post, blessed I am by those presences on my page, I would rather have this 10 than 100. I am sure you know what i mean. :)
Anyways, i appreciate you stopping by & offering a hand of helpful advice. It’s accepted, yet overall I find it a lil bit superficial, as if you would really really had closely looked over my doings you would notice that I had been offline since December & that I do not live in a van. :)
