Few Fav Shots
Hi there, Photography Lovers, Shaers of BEAUTY!
How are you all doing? ๐ธ๐
I just stopped by to share with you 3 pictures which were and still are close to my soul, I just export them out of the museum of memories!
:)
The blurred view which was always making me smile. It was a tiny flat situated somehow in the center of my home town, at the 8th floor, a cozy place I have rented to have more space for me, in order to be out of the "family crib". I used to live there for almost a year, it was quiet and beautiful.
I strongly believe that each one of you at some point during your photographic sessions, you had at least one "accidental shoot" which came out as a very good shot, at least one, isn't it? For me those kind of shots happened few times during my photographer life, and up there is one of them.
:)
Back to 2011, I have attended, my very first psy-trance festival, up in the mountains, for a week, where I was an unofficial photographer. I used to document the stages, and shoot the artists, along with shots of portraits of the festival participants. After the event, I mad an album dedicated to the festival, from which many people choose my picture and made it their social media profile picture. I must admit that I felt good, as until then not many liked the way I perceive them trough my lenses. Ever since I started to be more into portrait fontography.
:)
Speaking about portraits, for me, my sister holds a interesting exotic beauty, which she never wanted to manifest, often I asked her to allow me to take pictures of her, yet back then se never liked any of my pictures, as I was able to capture a different "face" of her. She was more into the mainstream and societal narratives, fitting the boxes of the consumerism.
Now she said that when she looks back to the pictures I took of her, she finds them beautiful, as she cannot understand why she never like them in the first place. Not long ago she said: "perhaps I have changed, and my tastes have changed."
I hope you felt something seeing this 3 pictures.
Thank you for being here!
With LOVE,
Iulia Qiparosa
