I Visited The San Jose in Caracas After A Long Time! - ENG -
Hello my dear friends! I hope you are very well, today I'm very happy to post here for the first time and share with you an experience that made me very happy this weekend visiting the San José church which is one of the most visited places in the San José Parish which is close to my house but I had not had the opportunity to visit for more or less 2 years. Before, we used to come a lot on Sundays, but we stopped coming because we have another church closer to us, so being here again makes me immensely happy, so here I bring you my experience.
As I mentioned before, this church is located in the San José parish, which is one of the parishes located in the historic center of Caracas. Unfortunately, we came at the time of repairs to the Church since the heavy rains that are taking place are deteriorating it due to being a construction from the 1800s (I think 1889 to be exact) and I could hardly take pictures, however I really liked that the altar remains as I remember it because I have always liked its quite classic style. My mom tells me that despite the deterioration, it has preserved itself quite well over time because she lived near her when she was 18 years old and she used to come here a lot, and she told me that she hasn't changed at all. I really like the 3 golden wall posts on which 3 precious statues are perched that are also quite old, and also the large cross on the wall.
Another place that I like about the Church is where they keep the Blessed Sacrament, which has a beautiful decoration, since although it's quite simple, they complement it with flowers and an image of Our Lady of Coromoto and in my opinion it looks beautiful. Once they told me that the Tabernacle is the same one that has been in place since the 1800s, so I love that they keep it very well preserved because I think it is one of the few oldest pieces that the church has, I could not stop taking a photo.
Something that caught my attention is the beautiful image they have of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is beautifully decorated. It made me remember the one they have in the church that we always attend, which is that of Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, which also decorated, but I think I like the one in this church better.
It's true that not only the church is very beautiful and interesting, but also the entire parish, it dates from the year 1889 but it began to be inhabited much earlier in the year 1810, and after the earthquake in 1812 a bahareque chapel was built in exactly the same place where the church is currently, and then people began to arrive since a total of about 12,000 people were located in its surroundings at that time. I really love this place, and I hope I can come more often and also learn more about its history, which is quite interesting, and I hope they can finish the restoration work soon in order to better enjoy the facilities. I really had a great time this day and it was a real pleasure to share it with you.
Well my dear friends this has been all for today's post, I hope you liked it and entertained. Thank you all very much for your attention and support of my work, I send you a big hug and we will meet again in a new post.
The farewell image was made by me with the canva editor, and the photographs are my property, taken by me with my LG Aristo 2 cell phone.

A visit to a religious place is soulful in a sense that, when mind is unsettled, the sacred places keep one restore what needs to re-settle with peace. The photos and descriptions are good and it is always a positive habit to go a new place once a week.
I would try to visit a new place each week too.
God bless You 🖐️
