so golden and flowery miyamae park: July 3 2024
miyamae park (宮前公園)
the nightwalker is back with a revisit of a park.
i once had the opportunity to briefly pass by this place in one of my nightwalker sessions.
all i did then was took pictures of one place and moved on, this time i stayed and toured the park.
the first visit was on the same day i visited this entry below.
| unexpectedly wide ogunohara park: June 20 2024 |

i don't even know if those grasses were planted or wild but these long ones look amazing.
golden fields against a blue sky, i could remember rapunzel's hair having this beautiful hue.
or a golden retriever's long flocks of fur, very visually appealing.
this faces a wide field.

you can play ball in those field, they also have an enclosed tennis court.
this area of the park was beside the sumida river where you can watch the waves with the gentle breeze on your face.

for kids not fond of playing balls, their is an installed mini playground with a long slide.
as an adult, i would love to get on it but i'm just not sure if i could.
as a child, i wouldn't dare.

this park also boasts an extensive flower garden.
and some of them were in bloom when i visited.

these succeeding pictures were what i captured in my previous visit and i am just glad that i did.
when i came back this time, these flowers were already past their best bloom.
white hydrangeas or ajisai in japanese were in full bloom then.

and mind you, they were planted in long rows all around this tennis court and in other parts of the park.
they looked like popcorns or even cauliflowers from afar that i had to get closer and see what they really were.
i couldn't believe my eyes, there were hundreds if not thousands of these white bulbs.
from my previous posts, i found out that the colors of these flowers depend on the acidity of the soil, so it is very possible that they would have a different color by next year.

there were also blue lilys on the perimeter as accents; some also call these flowers as african lilys.
from their website, the park has an extensive collection of roses too.
they surely have wilted by the time i went, i couldn't find any rose in bloom.

the park is open 24 hours except for the tennis courts.
you can find more information of this park from their website here.
the park was beside a library, they even recommended bringing a book while enjoying the view.
i stayed for a bit before i went on with my journey.
looking at my nightwalker trail below, this park is located in that area where my path kissed the river.

it was a productive night and i'm just glad i get to revisit.
it has finally been ticked off from my list.

So many hydrangeas very impressive my friend!😊
What a tremendous amount of work to maintain this beautiful place!
The Mrs has told me that if you put a metal nail in the dirt with the hydrangeas, they will change color …..😇😊
hmm shall i try to accidentally drop nails? hmm
lol…..🤣
The Mrs. said to tell you that it’s the rust from the nails that turns the hydrangeas purple😊
ohhh. i'll have to drop rusty nails then. hihihi
😊😇…….
Someone will be wondering, what caused the color change Lol!😇
people will think it's a miracle. i'll say my sorry in advance
