watching whales in South Tenerife

Friends, what a fun experience I had the last weekend!
My friend and I went to the south of the island for a very exciting event: a boat trip to watch whales!
The start of the day was quite cloudy, but as we were progressing towards our first destination, the clouds cleared and the weather was beautiful! We booked a catamaran tour with lunch included, so we didn't have to care about what to eat. First, we drove towards the Los Gigantes cliffs and took a dip in the ocean in front of the Masca Valley (it was so cold! The water had 20 degrees at the end of August, brrr!), and then we went to search for whales.
We were very lucky because not only did we see a bunch of whales, but also dolphins feasting on whatever they found in the water! And at some point, we had one of each kind swim really close to our catamaran so we were able to capture them (see pictures - sorry for the quality, they are a screenshot of a video!)
Although the catamaran was a little crowded, it was a very nice day and I enjoyed it a lot.
Have you done something similar in the past? Where and how it went? Let me know in the comments!

Hello! Could you please go to peakd then check whether the liketu watermark is missing in your first picture? Take a print screen image then report to liketu developers. I'm getting more people to report on this matter for them to take action. Thanks!
