One single photo - Weekend Engagement #151

This is photo of a beach in my city called Los Bordones. If there's something that I really appreciate is the beauty of the beach. I don't go so often though, but when I go, I can't help but to admire the great and vast sea.

I have respect for the sea, but I fear it too. I find it beautiful, but scary at the same time. However, I have to say that its beauty wins over all.

The day I took that picture, I was with my family. It was some of those rare moments when you are all together and just simply enjoy the companionship of those around.

That day was peaceful. There were no many people around, just some families. The sea was clear and quiet and warm. When I was in the water, the only thing I did was floating while seeing the sky. In some way, it was like a meditation for me.

The city where I live is surrounded by a big coast. That means yo can go to many beaches nearby. And they're all wonderful. I would really like to go more often, but I don't like going to the beach alone. I like when the beach is lonely, though. the reason for that is that there are people that don't care about preserving the beach in good conditions. They don't care if they leave their trash on the sand or in the water, they drink alcohol and can make chaos out of it.

But when there's not a holiday, or anything like that, you can appreciate the calmness of it, you can enjoy of the salty breeze, of the warm water and the sound of the waves. It is a really wonderful place to be.
