My Weekend In Margarita Island...
Hello, fellow weekenders. It's the beginning of a new weekend for me. February has come in the blink of an eye.
I want to tell you a bit about my weekend.
I came to Margarita Island to spend a week. It's been four years since I came here to visit my good friend Irene. As I told you in some other posts, we met in college, and although we didn't finished our careers in the same college, we still kept in touch and nurture our friendship for years.
This year we talked about me coming here to celebrate her son's birthday number one. We have known each other for thirteen years and I consider her as part of my family, and her son as my nephew. Last friday was his birthday and it was full of joy and happiness. All her family here and her husband's family too. I felt lucky to be part of it.
I spent a great time with them, and enjoy these few days around this lovely family. We went to the beach which is very close to her house and had a bath in it.
We went for a walk along the breakwater and took some selfies together.
And of course my friend took a photo of me and my nephew Enzo.
I can't wait to return to this beautiful island and spent more time with my friends. I had a marvelous time and their families welcomed me with love.
And by the way, I witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life.
Thanks for stopping by.
All photos were taken with my Samsung A12.
Lovely sights😊
Guess what, I had planned to go out to the mainland yesterday and couldn't because there were high seas. So I have to spend another weekend here.
Seems Margarita does not want to let you go🫣. Enjoy!
