Let's Visit Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Hi Hivers and Photography Lovers! I am back on my laptop so I can upload my travel photos from my hard disk. This time, let's visit the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to Wikipedia:
The Istana Negara (English: National Palace) is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (formerly Jalan Duta) near Taman Duta, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara which was located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur.

Visiting Istana Negara was part of the guided tour. I was amazed by the yellow palace. I mean, it was my first time to visit a National Palace of some royal blood in Southeast Asia.
How big is the palace complex? It's 97.65 hectares. It's also nice to know that they allow tourists to visit the area and take photos of the palace from afar.
It could have been nice to see the garden. Sure, it is not allowed. As you can see in the photos above, the tourists can take photos outside of the gate.
And here we are, we enjoyed taking photos like tourists.
I've never been to the UK so this was the first time I saw a palace. And so happy to see how Malaysia became a progressive country. I was like, how I wished the Philippines had become more progressive. I wasn't born when the country was once a Tiger Asian country.
This was a quick tour and the sky was turning gray.
As you can see, I didn't do any photo enhancements. What you see is what you get.
And here you see the Royal Armies guarding the palace. So many tourists take photos with them.
I like this Malaysian logo painted in gold.
I used the zoom with 55 mm.
Using 18 mm.
It was so clean that I couldn't stop taking photos again. What a tough job for gardeners but great job.
Another Royal guard with his cream suit. I liked this one better than the red uniform. I mean, it's because the red looks familiar already.
I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did.
