My first solo travel out of the country (meaning, outside of the Philippines) happened in May 2015 which was my first trip to Japan in the summer. I had so much fun in Japan that I decided to go back in November 2015 to celebrate my birthday and also to experience the autumn season.

Although my birthday trip to Japan in November never happened on the birthday week. It was a late birthday celebration as I had to make sure I could visit Japan during the autumn foliage. Fortunately, the airfare on the second time around was way cheaper than my first. So, I flew to Tokyo on November 28, 2015.

Upon the first day of arrival in Tokyo, I decided to rest in my room in the afternoon and waited for the evening to go to Tokyo Tower.

I've heard somewhere that if you're single and not in a relationship, go to Japan to see the Tokyo Tower. But if you're in a relationship, go to France and see the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

So, yes, I was very single, I went to Tokyo Tower and made a wish for my birthday. That someday, I could visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris with the love of my life.

Since my birthday trip in Japan was so epic. I decided to book a flight to Taipei during my birthday week in November 2016. Luckily, the flight was so cheap flying from Cebu to Taipei. OMG!

I arrived in Taipei very early so I left my luggage in the hostel and met a Filipina who works in Hsinchu. She toured me around and we went to Elephant Mountain to see the Taipei 101 building from afar.

The next day, my Japanese friend flew from Tokyo to Taipei as he remembered it was my birthday. He bought a ticket to the Taipei 101 Observatory Building. I thought I would end up being in a relationship with a Japanese guy. I was ready to feel Japanese though. You know, my last name sounds Japanese, and many times Japanese people thought I was half-Filipino / half-Japanese. Hehe, it was fun!

That means God had a different plan for my love life.

I was already backpacking in Myanmar (September 2018) for a month then I flew to Thailand (October 2018) to stay for another month. To extend my stay in Thailand, I had to do a border crossing which was to go to Cambodia by bus in November 2018. Luckily, it happened during my birthday week so why not celebrate my 30th birthday in Siem Reap?

While in Siem Reap, it is also a must to visit the iconic Angkor Wat. We woke up early morning to see the sunrise. It was awesome.

If you ask me, what was my wish for every birthday? A LOVE LIFE! Hahahaha!

In my 30s, I felt like my biological clock was ticking. Of course, I was excited to have my own babies.

So, where was I in November 2017?

I was in Puerto Princesa, Palawan where I rented a place for almost two years. I celebrated my birthday with my Palaweño friends and it was fun.

How about in November 2019?

I was in Cebu, pregnant, we went to Moalboal for a pregnancy photoshoot and video.

What happened in November 2020?

A days after I celebrated my birthday, I had a feeling there was something wrong with me. I lost my appetite and I was vomiting. I found out I was pregnant for the second time. I was shocked and nervous because Alexandre was about 9 months old.

If you asked me if the wish I made in 2015 under the Tokyo Tower really came true?

Oh yes! My French husband took me to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower in December 2020.

Your a traveling Birthday girl. Country to country. I only spent one birthday overseas. In Saudi Arabia in the middle of the desert at a U.S. Military base. Not really an epic one 😂 I wished to leave and that did happen, haha

Haha no problem 🤣 It's what you would expect of a desert hot and lot of sand. I actually was there a few different times. Only once though I left the base and got to see the local scene. I witnessed a lot of the culture there
