Rural Stay in A Former Tuscan Monastery 1 | 托斯卡纳乡间住处1

Agriturismo is a unique form of accommodation popular in some parts of Italian countryside. The word agriturismo is a combination of the words agricoltura and turismo. This type of agriculture tourism usually happens on a farm or in other rural settings where guests are catered and/or accommodated.

Today I'm going to introduce Agriturismo La Moscadella we experienced in Tuscany. We stayed here for a week with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. It's part of four properties of The Isabella Experience, and the other three are Casa Moricciani, Agriturismo Cretaiole, and Le Casine di Castello.

La Moscadella is on the outskirts of Castelmuzio, a small medieval village perched on a hilltop in Tuscany. It was a monastery in the 16th century. Isabella, the current owner, purchased it in 2013 and transformed it into a property filled with Tuscan charm.

Aside from the lovely views of olive groves and vineyards, the quaint medieval village of Montisi can be seen in the distance. The gardens come with sitting areas, and the outdoor pool is also a great place to relax after a day of exploring.

The photos in this post are of the grounds' outdoor space; they were taken on different days, so the weather and lighting vary. I'll show you the other parts, such as the dining room and interior decor, in my subsequent posts.
