Skater yeonjun | digital fanart [ESP/ENG]
¡Hola amigos de HIVE!
Hoy estoy muy muy emocionada por mostrarles esta nueva ilustración, que es un fanart de Yeonjun de TXT y me encantó cómo quedó. La referencia me pareció muy interesante, tenía la patineta y detalles en ella que me llamaron la atención. Además los colores se veían llamativos y me inspiraron a jugar un poco, así como con el fondo para lograr un hermoso resultado final. ¿Qué les parece si vemos el proceso?

Today I am very very excited to show you this new illustration, which is a fanart of Yeonjun from TXT and I loved how it turned out. I found the reference very interesting, it had the skateboard and details on it that caught my attention. Also the colors looked striking and inspired me to play around a bit, as well as with the background to achieve a beautiful end result. What do you think if we see the process?

Paso 1 / Step 1
Comencé con tomando la referencia y haciendo el boceto en tradicional usando bolígrafo.
I started taking the reference and making the sketch in traditional using a pen.

Paso 2 / Step 2
En digital, hice un pequeño ajuste en el boceto, dibujé el lineart y coloreé la piel.
In digital, I made a small adjustment to the sketch, drew the lineart and colored the skin.
Paso 3 / Step 3
Luego, coloreé los rasgos faciales, el cabello y la ropa.
Then, I colored the face features, the hair and the clothes.
Paso 4 / Step 4
Finalmente, coloreé la patineta añadiendo sus pequeños detalles decorativos y añadí color al fondo, jugando con los colores de un atardecer, con nubes y también dibujé una baranda dode se reposa el personaje. Como toque final también añadí un poco de textura tipo cómic y¡listo!
Finally, I colored the skateboard adding its small decorative details and added color to the background, playing with the colors of a sunset, with clouds and I also drew a railing where the character rests. As a final touch I also added some comic texture and that's it!

Lovely. How do you make the highlight on his face? Do you only reduce the opacity of the color you chose?
Thank you!! Im'm glad you liked it. For the highlight I just picked manually a lighter color but keeping the same tone, I mean, just changing the value. I worked with the 100% of the opacity with that.
