Upon arrival, I was greeted by the cute pigeons that surround the entire plaza, along with some squirrels and iguanas that inhabit the large and majestic trees. These trees offer shade and a whisper of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

The plaza is not only a historical space, but also a cultural haven. Walking around it, I stopped to watch street vendors offering handicrafts and street performers filling the air with music and color. It is amazing how this place connects the vibrant spirit of the present with the solemnity of the past.

An interesting fact I remembered is that many of the Bolivar squares I have known share a similar design, symbolizing the union of the peoples liberated by Bolivar. Without a doubt, this place is a constant reminder of freedom and our identity.
