Hola amigos de Hive, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia de fin de semana en el Hotel Nevada, un lugar ubicado en las montañas del lado oeste de mi ciudad que ofrece un excelente panorámica de la ciudad de San Cristóbal y demás pueblos aledaños.

Hello friends of Hive, today I want to share with you my weekend experience at Hotel Nevada, a place located in the mountains on the west side of my city that offers an excellent panoramic view of the city of San Cristobal and other surrounding towns.

El plan de fin de semana junto a mi novia @alexeyha86 inicialmente era ir a un complejo turístico de la ciudad, pero al saber que el lugar tendría ciertas limitaciones de uso de los espacios, porque habría un evento privado el mismo día, decidimos cambiar de plan.

The weekend plan with my girlfriend @alexeyha86 was initially to go to a resort in the city, but knowing that the place would have certain limitations of use of the spaces, because there would be a private event the same day, we decided to change the plan.

De manera que nos decidimos por hospedarnos en el Hotel Nevada, el cual tenía un par de ofertas por el mes de octubre, y sin duda disfrutaríamos la maravillosa panorámica, desde el balcón de la habitación, incluso, creímos que podríamos apreciar las estrellas desde allí, pero que debido a la nubosidad y contaminación lumínica lo convierten en algo imposible.

So we decided to stay at the Hotel Nevada, which had a couple of offers for the month of October, and no doubt we would enjoy the wonderful view from the balcony of the room, even, we thought we could see the stars from there, but due to cloud cover and light pollution make it impossible.

La habitación, era bastante espaciosa, sencilla para bastante agradable para la estadía, una cama matrimonial muy grande bastante cómoda y un televisor, que no tenía señal, pero tenía películas, música y algunos videos musicales. Las películas no eran las mejores, pudimos ver por primera vez Barbie, de la cual quedé completamente decepcionado, y una película demasiado mala llamada la Cabaña Maldita o algo así. Por lo menos los videos musicales eran bastante retro y nos sirvieron para ambientar un poco nuestra estadía.

The room, was quite spacious, simple but quite nice for the stay, a very large double bed quite comfortable and a TV, which had no signal, but had movies, music and some music videos. The movies were not the best, we got to see Barbie for the first time, which I was completely disappointed in, and a movie that was too bad called the Cursed Cabin or something like that. At least the music videos were pretty retro and set the mood for our stay.

Por supuesto lo mejor de todo era la panorámica, justo esa noche fueron las elecciones primarias en mi país, y pudimos ver como desde diferentes puntos de la ciudad lanzaban fuegos artificiales, fue una bonita experiencia contemplar la ciudad nocturna, comiendo Pirulines y conversando sobre cosas de la cotidianidad.

Of course the best of all was the panoramic view, just that night was the primary elections in my country, and we could see how from different points of the city fireworks were launched, it was a nice experience to contemplate the city at night, eating Pirulines and talking about everyday things.

El Hotel Nevada no tiene mucho más que ofrecer que habitaciones cómodas y una bonita panorámica, la atención fue buena, sin embargo, la promoción que decía que la habitación venía con 2 bebidas, no fue cumplida y en su lugar nos dieron un “Platanito” un Snacks que abunda en mi ciudad, de paso nos dieron solo una bolsita individual. Supuestamente por que la dueña habia cambiado la promo el dina anterior, la cual antes incluía dos cervezas, una excusa barata, pero bueno, detalles como esos pueden hacerlos perder clientes.

The Hotel Nevada does not have much more to offer than comfortable rooms and a nice view, the service was good, however, the promotion that said that the room came with 2 drinks, was not fulfilled and instead they gave us a "Platanito" a snack that abounds in my city, by the way they gave us only a single bag. Supposedly because the owner had changed the promotion the previous day, which previously included two beers, a cheap excuse, but well, details like that can make them lose customers.

Yo creo que este Hotel es un buen lugar para quedarse una noche o un fin de semana lejos del bullicio de la ciudad, sin embargo, deben prever cosas como que no hay cafetería, y que les pueden decir cualquier cosa para no cumplir con las promociones que ofrecen, así que deben establecer de antemano las condiciones.

I think this Hotel is a good place to stay for a night or a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city, however, they should foresee things like there is no cafeteria, and they can tell you anything not to comply with the promotions they offer, so they should establish the conditions beforehand.
