Hola amigos de Hive, en Venezuela los hospitales son algo que está muy lejos de ser lo ideal, son espacios colapsados, con falta de mantenimiento, falta de insumos, un deterioro marcado. Por lo que que ir a uno puede ser un poco traumático, principalmente si eres paciente o familiar. Ahora si pasas por allí sin tener la salud comprometida, puede ser interesante, ver esta realidad.

Hello friends of Hive, in Venezuela hospitals are something that is far from ideal, they are collapsed spaces, with lack of maintenance, lack of supplies, a marked deterioration. Estuve en el hospital central de San Cristóbal y me invadió un poco la tristeza al ver tantas penurias, pero también me sentí muy curioso al ingresar en espacios en los que nunca había estado, como la Unidad de Pacientes Agudos, lugar para pacientes psiquiátricos en el que hice algunas fotografías.

I was in the central hospital of San Cristóbal and I was a bit sad to see so much hardship, but I was also very curious to enter spaces I had never been to before, such as the Acute Patient Unit, a place for psychiatric patients where I took some photographs.

El entorno se parece un poco al juego de SIlent Hill, imagino que de noche debe ser bastante tétrico, de verdad no me gustó este ambiente para pacientes psiquiátricos, es bastanteaste decadente. El jardín central, que es lo que debería ser más bonito, un espacio para despejar la mente, está muy descuidado, se ve un ambiente triste y lúgubre.

The environment looks a bit like the SIlent Hill game, I imagine that at night it must be quite gloomy, I really didn't like this environment for psychiatric patients, it's quite decadent. The central garden, which is what should be more beautiful, a space to clear the mind, is very neglected, it looks a sad and gloomy environment.

En una de las celdas había un paciente que cantaba alguna canción que no pude identificar. Y decía, “llamen a mi mamá”.Aproveché mi pasó por allí para hacer un registro fotográfico, también hice fotografías de algunas ambulancias. Este hospital es muy interesante para hacer fotografías un tanto oscuras, pero por supuesto hay que tener discreción.

In one of the cells there was a patient who was singing some song that I could not identify. I took advantage of my time there to take a photographic record, and I also took pictures of some ambulances. This hospital is very interesting for taking somewhat obscure photographs, but of course you have to be discreet.
