To Serve our Father's Land

In Nigeria going through the four walls , of a University is really a stressful situation, too many things, but after which the next phase appears, putting you in another , Rosy not so Rosy situation.
This phase is called* "The NYSC Phase".*
NYSC simply means National Youth Service Corps. And every graduated Nigerian student has to go through this process.
The procedure involves a lot of registration and then applying , for a
choiced State for services, once the list of applicant is realised ,each person is then posted to a particular State in Nigeria to serve the nation.
It's usually a one year program but it involves travelling from one state to another for hours. Most times you're posted to a state you don't want.
Sometimes It is due to the Insecurity attached with travelling from one state to the other that's why graduates dislike, travelling the distance otherwise , it's a very fun a adventurous moment travelling to a new state to gain new experience.
Most people apply with a specific state in mind and get it, other don't get it as they have to go somewhere else appointed to them by the government to go and serve.
But then after been posted and arriving camp, you'd have to also join in the activities of the camp.
Some of the activities are conducted by the military personnels, who are assigned to train the new Corp members. These activities can be quite stressful as they have do some mini military drills, that could put them on there toes, the part that most of these Corpers hate a lot.
After staying on camp after a few weeks of fun and not so fun activities, they are then posted to a station to serve depending on the course studied.
some corpers get to teach school children for a year, hence they're serving there father's land Nigeria.
During this period they are paid by the government a monthly allowance of $53.2 for one year, an amount quite poor for a student who has gone 4 or 5 years and sometimes 7 years in school depending on the course studied.
But then they are still required to "Serve Nigeria", where they are a citizen of an complete the one year program of serving the country despite the hurdles. But then again however the difficult the journey may seem they get to successfully complete the program and some in a way to celebrate go ahead to employ me Photography services and take pictures they'd remember .
N/B Someone who participate in an NYSC program is called a Youth Corper or shortly called Corper.
