He subido en varias oportunidades, pero cada vez que uno emprende el ascenso significa descubrir un entorno nuevo, vivir como si fuera la primera vez el rico frio que se siente allá arriba y quedar sorprendido con la inmensidad de la ciudad que dejamos abajo, para llegar a la cumbre de una montaña que nos recibe con una grandeza asombrosa, es en estos momentos cuando nos damos cuenta de lo insignificantes que somos en comparación con nuestro alrededor, pero también nos permite abrir nuestra mente y entender que tanto la naturaleza como la ciudad requieren coexistir de forma armónica y pacífica, todo esto con la finalidad de que la especie humana pueda seguir disfrutando al máximo de espacios como este.

In this opportunity I boarded the cable car cabins in the company of a great friend, with her I share similar tastes, because we love to live life to the fullest, therefore adventures are our greatest weakness and photography is a passion that surrounds us and unites us in a deep bond of brotherhood, we both have different styles, but by practicing the same discipline we know how to be patient with each other and at the same time we help each other in terms of locations, techniques, angles and we have even posed for each other on many occasions, so she is an incredible company to undertake this journey.

En esta oportunidad aborde las cabinas del teleférico en compañía de una gran amiga, con ella comparto gustos similares, pues nos encanta vivir la vida al máximo, por lo tanto las aventuras son nuestra mayor debilidad y la fotografía es una pasión que nos envuelve y nos une en un profundo lazo de fraternidad, ambos tenemos estilos distintos, pero al practicar la misma disciplina sabemos ser pacientes con el otro y al mismo tiempo nos ayudamos en cuanto a locaciones, técnicas, ángulos he incluso hemos posado para el otro en muchas oportunidades, por lo tanto ella es una compañía increíble para emprender este recorrido.

I must tell you that it was the first time that my friend boarded one of these cabins, I did not know that she was afraid of heights, so those 15 minutes that the tour lasted both in the ascent and descent was for her an experience that undoubtedly she will not forget, because in those critical moments of the trip the fear turned into laughter, between jokes and conversations we could make this a much more bearable space of time.

Debo decirles que era la primera vez que mi amiga abordaba una cabina de estas, yo no sabia que le temía a las alturas, por lo tanto esos 15 minutos que duro el recorrido tanto en el ascenso como en el descenso fue para ella una experiencia que sin duda alguna no va a olvidar, ya que en esos momentos críticos del viaje el temor se convertía en risas, entre bromas y conversaciones pudimos hacer de este un espacio de tiempo mucho más llevadero.

Once we reached the top we enjoyed a spectacular view of the city of Caracas, despite being a little cloudy at times the clouds parted letting us see the whole of the capital, on the north side the situation was different, because there we were not so lucky and the sea was quite elusive when we wanted to capture it, but still we could enjoy the deep fog, its movements and its great cold. At this point I could fulfill a dream, to touch the clouds, as the ceiling was super low and they crossed us with their characteristic spray, which is spectacular, as you can feel the change in the density of the air and at the same time enjoy an extraordinarily clean environment.

Una vez que llagamos a la cima disfrutamos de una vista espectacular de la ciudad de Caracas, a pesar de estar un poco nublado en ocasiones las nubes se apartaban dejándonos ver la totalidad de la capital, del lado norte la situación era diferente, pues allí no corrimos con tanta suerte y el mar nos fue bastante esquivos al momento querer capturarlo, pero aun así pudimos disfrutar de la profunda neblina, sus movimientos y su gran frio. En este punto pude cumplir un sueño, el de tocar las nubes, ya que el techo estaba súper bajito y las mismas nos atravesaban con su característico roció, lo cual es espectacular, ya que se puede sentir el cambio en la densidad del aire y al mismo tiempo se disfruta de un ambiente extraordinariamente limpio.

We walked along the path, we could appreciate the hoisting of the huge national flag and we also saw the Hotel from the front, we took the opportunity to eat something light, have a good chocolate and decided that on this trip we should know the whole place to the maximum, that's how we spent a fun day, where we not only strengthened our friendship, but each one had the opportunity to take out his camera and shoot dozens of shots, which not only immortalized that moment, but also helped us to practice and learn even more about our technological equipment.

Recorrimos todas la caminería, pudimos apreciar la izada de la enorme bandera nacional y también vimos de frente al Hotel, aprovechamos para comer algo ligero, tomarnos un buen chocolate y decidimos que en este paseo debíamos conocer al máximo todo el lugar, es así como pasamos un día divertido, en donde no solo afianzamos nuestra amistad, sino que cada quien tuvo la oportunidad de sacar su cámara y lanzar decenas de disparos, con lo cual no solo inmortalizamos ese omento, sino que también nos ayudo a practicar y conocer aun más nuestros equipos tecnológicos.

But the tour would not end in that walk, it turns out that at the end of the small boulevard and at the foot of the cable car station is a stone path, which leads us directly to a small town called Galipán, this is a purely tourist settlement, where there are plenty of inns, restaurants, stores and spaces suitable for walking and consumption, So without hesitation we decided to walk downhill to there, the idea was to walk the road, observe everything quietly and continue generating images, as we went down we met many people going in both directions, being a weekend were almost all tourists, who like us looking to live that nice experience.

Pero el paseo no terminaría en esa caminería, resulta que al final del pequeño bulevar y a los pies de la estación del teleférico se encuentra una ruta de piedra, la cual nos conduce de forma directa a un pequeño pueblo llamado Galipán, este es un asentamiento netamente turístico, en donde abundan las posadas, restaurantes, comercios y espacios adecuados para el paseo y el consumo, por eso sin dudarlo decidimos caminar en bajada hasta allá, la idea era recorrer el camino, observar todo con tranquilidad y seguir generando imágenes, mientras bajábamos nos encontramos con muchas personas que iban en ambas direcciones, por ser fin de semana eran casi todos turistas, que al igual que nosotros buscan vivir esa linda experiencia.

Already in Galipán we found very nice houses, where wood, flowers and colors are the characteristic elements of the whole environment, in one of the many stores my friend bought several sweets and souvenirs that later she will take to her mother and grandmother, it is very nice to see how in this place the stone roads, The horses and the beautiful facades are perfectly combined, giving the impression that we have gone back in time, but this does not mean that we are disconnected from the world, because technology is also something that is very present, teaching us that it is possible to move forward in time without leaving aside our essence.

Ya en Galipán nos encontramos con casas muy lindas, en donde la madera, las flores y los colores son los elementos característicos de todo el entorno, en uno de los tantos negocios mi amiga compro varios dulces y recuerdos que posteriormente le llevara a su madre ya abuela, es muy agradable ver como en este lugar los caminos de piedra, los caballos y las lindas fachadas se conjugan de forma perfecta, dando la impresión de que nos hemos regresado en el tiempo, pero esto no significa que estemos desconectados del mudo, pues la tecnología también es algo que se encuentra muy presente, enseñándonos que es posible avanzar en el tiempo sin necesidad dejar de lado nuestra esencia.

To return to the cable car station we decided to board a Jeep, since the trip uphill would be hard enough for us, considering that by this time we already had several hours walking from one side to another, but no doubt that this was a good decision, since the rustic gives us another experience that is incredible to live, since going at high speed allows us to jump and enjoy as never before the journey to the top of the mountain range.

Para retornar a la estación del teleférico decidimos abordar un Jeep, ya que el viaje en subida ya seria bastante fuerte para nosotros, teniendo en cuenta que para este momento ya teníamos varias horas caminando de un lado a otro, pero sin duda alguna que esta fue una buena decisión, ya que el rustico nos brinda otra experiencia que es increíble de vivir, ya que al ir a gran velocidad nos permite saltar y disfrutar como nunca del recorrido hasta la cima de la cordillera.

We took a last tour around the vicinity of the station, we sat for a while on the stone wall that is on the side facing the city and there we talked a little about life, about how special that trip was and we plan to return, we also took the opportunity to see some pictures and have a coffee, then very happy to have accomplished our goal and take dozens of photos, we set out to start the descent to the city and from there everyone would head home with the satisfaction of having spent an incredible day.

Dimos un ultimo recorrido por las cercanías de la estación, nos sentamos un rato en el muro de piedra que se encuentra del lado que da a la ciudad y allí conversamos un poco sobre la vida, sobre lo especial que fue ese viaje y planeamos volver, también aprovechaos de ver algunas fotos y tomarnos un café, luego muy contentos de haber cumplido con nuestra meta y de llevarnos decenas de fotos, nos dispusimos a emprender el descenso a la ciudad y de allí cada quien enfilaría a sus casa con la satisfacción de haber pasado un día increíble.
