Caracas Macaws

If there is a natural element that perfectly identifies the city of Caracas, it is the macaws, since these intrepid birds of beautiful plumage, vibrant color and cheerful sounds, fly through the skies of the capital on a daily basis generating an interesting environment and at the same time full of life. We can find them in all colors in different species and in almost any corner of the city, always with a friendly and playful spirit, but with the instinct to find pieces of bread, sunflower seeds or any other delicious snack that caraqueños usually give them in a loving and kind way.

Guacamayas Caraqueñas

Si existe un elemento natural que identifica a la perfección a la ciudad de Caracas son las guacamayas, ya que estas intrépidas aves de hermoso plumaje, color vibrante y alegres sonidos, surcan los cielos capitalinos de forma diaria generando un entorno interesante y al mismo tiempo repleto de vida. Las podemos encontrar en todos los colores en diversas especies y en casi cualquier rincón de la ciudad, siempre con un espíritu amigable y juguetón, pero con el instinto puesto en encontrar trozos de pan, semillas de girasol o cualquier otro delicioso bocado que los caraqueños suelen brindarle de manera cariñosa y amable.

According to studies on the subject many of these macaws are not native to this valley of the capital, but were the result of gradual insertions that resulted in a diverse and fairly large population of birds, which has adapted to the conditions of the city and have become an inherent part of it. It is for this reason that finding a mural where the macaws are the protagonists is not something strange, but on the contrary it is a well-deserved tribute to these friends who flutter every day and spread their joy to all those who are ready to live our day to day.

Según estudios realizados en la materia muchas de estas guacamayas no resultan autóctonas de este valle capitalino, sino que fueron el resultado de paulatina sin inserciones que dieron como resultado una población de aves diversa y bastante grande, la cual se ha adaptado a las condiciones propias de la ciudad y se han vuelto parte inherente de ella. Es por esta razón que encontrarse un mural en dónde las guacamayas son los protagonistas no es algo raro, sino al contrario se trata de un tributo bien merecido para esas amigas que todos los días revolotean y contagian con su alegría a todos aquellos que nos disponemos a vivir nuestro día a día.

I do not know the name of the author of the work, but I can tell you that it is located in a very special place for those who know the city, it is the small lake of Fuerte Tiuna, a space dominated by tranquility, where nature is the protagonist and of course the macaws are very present.

Desconozco el nombre del autor de la obra, pero les puedo decir que se encuentra en un lugar muy especial para los que conocemos la ciudad, se trata del laguito de Fuerte Tiuna, un espacio dominado por la tranquilidad, en donde la naturaleza es la protagonista y por supuesto las guacamayas se encuentran muy presentes.
