At the Port with my Family

For as long as I can remember, I have liked to share with my family, I am convinced that it is right in these moments where we fertilize a relationship that should always be based on love, fraternity and understanding. Fortunately, in my family there are no distinctions in terms of age, we all enjoy each other and on walks we walk together at the same pace, enjoying every moment and living life to the fullest.

Desde que tengo memoria, me ha gustado compartir con mi familia, estoy convencido de que es justo en estos momentos en donde abonamos una relación que siempre debe estar basada en el amor, la fraternidad y la comprensión. Afortunadamente, en mi familia no existen distinciones en cuanto a la edad, todos disfrutamos del otro y en los paseos andamos juntos a un mismo ritmo, disfrutando de cada instante y viviendo la vida de manera plena.

Several years ago in the Port of La Guaira several military frigates docked in an event marked by cultural exchange and mutual solidarity. This opportunity became the ideal moment for the whole society to go to the coast, looking forward to discover those singularities and curiosities that arrived on those ships coming from other latitudes.

Hace ya varios años en el Puerto de la Guaira diversas fragatas militares atracaron en un evento marcado por el intercambio cultural y la solidaridad mutua. Esta oportunidad se convirtió en el momento ideal para que toda la sociedad se lanzara a la costa, con la mirada puesta a descubrir esas singularidades y curiosidades que llegaban sobre esos barcos provenientes de otras latitudes.

Following this same wave my mom, my aunt, my grandfather and I decided to go around the port and there we discovered an interesting artistic exhibition, where we were shown a history marked by a very singular ideology, but at the same time we met foreign sailors, who barely spoke our language, but with whom we shared some ideas, many smiles and big hugs.

Siguiendo esta misma onda mi mamá, mi tía, mi abuelo y yo decidimos recorrer el puerto y allí descubrimos una interesante muestra artística, en donde se nos mostraba una historia marcada por una ideología muy singular, pero al mismo tiempo nos encontramos con marineros extranjeros, quién es apenas hablaba nuestro idioma, pero con los cuales compartimos algunas ideas, muchas sonrisas y grandes abrazos.

This is a memory that will always remain marked in my mind, since it combined in a single event several factors that I find very interesting, firstly we have the family union, secondly we have a trip to a somewhat unexpected destination and thirdly a cultural exchange that is undoubtedly rewarding and which is always surrounded by great emotions.

Este es un recuerdo que siempre quedará marcado en mi mente, ya que combinó en un solo evento varios factores que me parecen muy interesantes, en primer lugar tenemos la unión familiar, en segundo lugar tenemos un viaje hacia un destino un tanto inesperado y en tercer lugar un intercambio cultural que sin duda alguna es gratificante y el cual siempre está rodeado de grandes emociones.

I am convinced that our family is the fundamental nucleus of our whole life, that is why we must take advantage of every moment we share with each of its members, no distinctions should be made in terms of age and, therefore, we must plan trips and activities where we can all enjoy without limitations, always maintaining a supportive, fraternal and deeply loving environment.

Estoy convencido de que nuestra familia es el núcleo fundamental de toda nuestra vida, es por ello que debemos aprovechar cada momento que compartimos con cada uno de sus integrantes, no se deben hacer distinciones en cuanto a edades y, por lo tanto, debemos planear paseos y actividades en donde todos podamos disfrutar sin limitaciones, siempre manteniendo un ambiente solidario, fraterno y profundamente amoroso.
