Meeting of two nations - Colombia and Venezuela - Market Friday.

Hello friends of this beautiful Friday market community created by friend Denise @dswigle. Today I want to share a visit I made to the Meeting of Two Nations, an event organized by a non-profit organization that helps Venezuelans in Colombia, specifically in the city of Bogota.

This organization helps Venezuelans to be trained to do some business and the event, which is the first that they do, was to publicize what they do and what the participants of this aid did. They were taking classes on how to start a business and that day they showed everything they had learned, their products were for sale at this fair.

There was a lot of food that we eat in our country and they made themselves known so that those present knew what they sold and where they were. The truth is that the prices seemed quite high and everything seemed expensive to me. But in reality that's how life is, every week I go to a supermarket I get an increase in products from about 100 pesos to about 5,000 pesos.

They had a lot of delicious food like our traditional hallacas, ham bread, golfeados, tortas of all kinds, tamales and lots of handmade crafts, weavings and much more.

1 golfer 6,000 pesos

Two weeks ago I went to the wholesale market in Bogota to ask about the prices for the ingredients of the hallacas because we plan to make our own and everything made a total of 250,000 pesos to make 100 to 120 hallacas, the cost of the materials to make a cake It is 50,000 pesos for 1 of a kilo or 2 of a half kilo.

In the market they told me that these prices were going to rise the closer Christmas is, that is December 24th. So by this date everything must be more expensive.

Denise, I give you this Christmas plant with its beautiful flowers in bright colors. I found them on the street, a lady who sells them for 15,000 pesos each little plant. It seems like a good price to me because it is a plant that will last you many years and it will decorate your garden at home.

Hola amigos de esta hermosa comunidad de mercado de los Viernes creado por la amiga Denise @dswigle. Hoy les quiero compartir una visita que hice al Encuentro de Dos Naciones, evento organizado por una organizacion sin fines de lucro que ayuda a los Venezolanos en Colombia, especificamente en la ciudad de Bogota.

Esta organizacion ayuda a los Venezolanos a capacitarse para hacer algun emprendimiento y el evento, que es el primero que ellos hacen, era para dar a conocer lo que ellos hacen y lo que hicieron los participantes de esta ayuda. Ellos estuvieron tomando clases de como hacer un emprendimiento y ese dia mostraron todo lo aprendido, sus productos estuvieron a la venta en esta feria.

Habia mucha comida de la que comemos en nuestro pais y se dieron a conocen para que los presentes supieran que venden y donde se encuentran. La verdad es que los precios me parecieron bastante elevados y todo me parecio costoso. Pero en realidad asi esta la vida de cara, cada semana que voy a un supermercado consigo aumento de los productos desde unos 100 pesos hasta unos 5.000 pesos.

Tenian mucha comida deliciosa como nuestras tradicionales hallacas, pan de jamon, golfeados, tortas de todo tipo, tamales y mucha artesania elaborada a mano, tejidos y mucho mas.

Hace dos semanas sali al mercado de mayorista de Bogota a preguntar por los precios para los ingredientes de las hallacas porque pensamos hacer las nuestras y todo hizo un total de 250.000 pesos para hacer 100 a 120 hallacas, el costo de los materiales para hacer una torta es de 50.000 pesos para 1 de un kilo o 2 de medio kilo.

En el mercado me dijeron que estos precios iban a elevarse mientras mas cerca este la navidad o sea el 24 de Diciembre. Asi que para esta fecha debe estar mas caro todo.

Fue muy gratificante ver que mis compañeros estan emprendiendo en este pais que nos ha dado tanto apoyo y nos ha abierto las puertas en todos los campos: salud, trabajo y crecimiento personal. Les deso el mayor de los exitos.

Denise, te regalo esta planta de Navidad con sus hermosas flores en vivos colores. Las encontre en la calle, una señora que las vende en 15.000 pesos cada plantita. Me parece un buen precio porque es una planta que te va a durar muchos años y te va a decorar el jardin de la casa.
