CHRISTMAS / POBphotocontest
I love talking about Christmas because although I always say that it is a celebration for children, I love the air of love and emotion that has been in the air since December 1st.
In this first photo you see 3 of my grandchildren on an avenue in Maracaibo called Bella Vista, which is illuminated from start to finish with Christmas decorations and lots of lights. Everyone from the city goes here to take photos, walk and enjoy the decorations.
In this photo they pose next to the emblematic Santa Claus, known by all and from whom children await gifts on the 24th. This doll is part of the decoration of that avenue in Maracibo.
Christmas also arrives in supermarkets, of course. Here my sister-in-law poses in a Costco with this little soldier that has a cost of 66,668 Dollars. These are dolls that are used to decorate the fronts of houses and the streets of neighborhoods in the United States.
In the squares we also see decorations like this 2-meter nutcracker in which my sister can't stand the temptation to pose and take some photos.
Of course, in my house we also catch the joy of Christmas, so the first thing we open is our Christmas tree. The tree is the second symbol alluding to the celebration and symbolizes peace, happiness, harmony, love, together with all the other decorations.
Christmas for me symbolizes union since all the members of the family contribute their support for what is the painting of the house, the elaboration of the food that we share those days, the purchase of gifts to distribute to the children and the adults. In short, we all collaborate so that the holidays go as well as possible and we are always satisfied.

Hablar de la Navidad me encanta ya que aunque siempre digo que es una celebracion para niños me encanta el aire de amor y de emocion que hay en el ambiente desde el 1ro de Diciembre.
En esta primera foto ven a 3 de mis nietos en una Avenida en Maracaibo que se llama Bella Vista, la cual es iluminada de principio a fin de decoraciones navideñas y de muchas luces. Aqui van todos los de la ciudad a tomarse fotos, a caminar y a deleitarse con las decoraciones.
En esta foto posan junto al emblematico Santa Claus, conocido por todos y de quien los niños esperan los regalos el dia 24. Este muñeco es parte de la decoracion de esa Avenida en Maracibo.
En los supermercados tambien llega la navidad, por supuesto. Aqui mi cuñada posa en un Costco junto a este soldadito que tiene un costo de 66.668 Dolares. Estos son muñecos que usan para decorar los frentes de las casas y las calles de los vecindarios en Estados Unidos.
En las plazas tambien vemos decoraciones como este cascanueces de 2 metros en el que mi hermana no aguanto la tentacion de posar y tomarse unas fotos.
Por supuesto que en mi casa tambien nos contagiamos de la alegria de la Navidad, asi que lo primero que abrimos es nuestro arbol de Navidad. El arbol es el segundo simbolo alusivo a la celebracion y simboliza paz, felicidad, armonia, amor, union junto a todas las otras decoraciones.
La Navidad para mi simboliza union ya que todos los miembros de la familia aportan su apoyo para lo que es la pintura de la casa, la elaboracion de los alimentos que compartimos esos dias, la compra de regalos para repartir a los niños y a los grandes. En fin, todos colaboramos para que las fiestas salgan lo mejor que se pueda y siempre quedamos satisfechos.
