Flores blancas

Después de la lluvia, parece que todo alrededor recupera un poco de vida. Las hojas se ven más verdes, los colores parecen más intensos y hasta las flores que normalmente pasan desapercibidas llaman la atención.

Esta vez me fijé en unas flores blancas que tiene mi vecina en su casa. Estaban allí, entre las hojas verdes, y el contraste me pareció precioso.

No necesité buscar mucho para encontrar una buena imagen. Las flores destacaban por sí solas, especialmente con las pequeñas gotas que todavía quedaban sobre algunas hojas.

Saqué el móvil y tomé varias fotografías. Me gusta hacer esto sin demasiada preparación, simplemente porque algo me llamó la atención en ese momento.

Quizás por eso disfruto tanto fotografiando plantas y flores. No hace falta que ocurra nada extraordinario. A veces basta con mirar un poco más despacio lo que tenemos cerca.

Estas flores blancas estaban a pocos pasos de mi casa y probablemente seguirán allí mañana.

Pero ese día, después de la lluvia, me parecieron especialmente bonitas.

White Flowers

After the rain, everything around us seems to come back to life a little. The leaves look greener, the colors seem more intense, and even flowers that normally go unnoticed catch our attention.

This time I noticed some white flowers growing at my neighbor's house. They were surrounded by green leaves, and I thought the contrast was beautiful.

I didn't have to look very far to find a good image. The flowers stood out on their own, especially with the small drops of water that were still resting on some of the leaves.

I took out my phone and took several photographs. I like doing this without too much preparation, simply because something caught my attention at that particular moment.

Perhaps that is why I enjoy photographing plants and flowers so much. Nothing extraordinary has to happen. Sometimes it is enough to slow down and look a little more carefully at what is around us.

These white flowers were just a few steps from my home, and they will probably still be there tomorrow.

But that day, after the rain, they looked especially beautiful to me.
