Autumn in Southern Siberia | PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 139

Hello, friends!
Today my wife and I decided to take a walk to Mount Sedlovataya and see the ancient rock paintings there. In the photo, the mountain is visible in the background, and the ancient rock paintings are located on the rock ledges of the second-highest tier.

To begin the climb to the petroglyphs, you need to cross a small valley located between the mountains. Autumn has already fully arrived, and the dominant colors around are yellow and gray.

I think the cool weather that has set in is comfortable for the cows grazing in the valley: it’s not hot anymore and not cold yet, there are no annoying flies or horseflies, and there’s still plenty of lush green grass to be found around.

Did we get to the ancient stone carvings? Yes, we did, but I'll tell you about that next time.
