Tasty food in Napa Downtown (纳帕市中心的美食）

Every time I go to Napa, all I think about is to go to the Outlet and wine tasting, and I don't think about to go there to eat good food. One day I chatted with a friend. She said a week ago that she went to a restaurant in downtown Napa to eat oysters and seafood, and the dishes were so fresh and delicious. There were many famous restaurants there. She would go there again with another friends next month.

每一次去纳帕，我想着的就是去逛Outlet和品尝美酒，没有想过去那里吃好吃的美食。 有一天和一位朋友聊天，她说前一个周未去了纳帕市中心的餐厅吃生蚝，新鲜到不得了，在那里还有很多很多的好吃的东西，她又约了朋友下个月再去。

I told my hubby of what my friend said, and I said we should go there to check it out. My husband hasn't eaten in a restaurant since the epidemic. I told him that the epidemic is not so serious now, and the infective rate is much lower. We have been vaccinated also, it’s time to go out for some delicious food.

I drove to the first street in front of City Hall, and I saw a car leaving. There was a sign said that it can be parked for two hours, so I parked my car there. Napa downtown is not too big, there are only a few streets to walk around, and First street is the most popular street. Seeing so many people were walking not far away, we walked forward.

开车去到了市中心的第一街，见到市政府部门的门前有一辆车正好离开，路边的牌子上写着可以停车两个小时，我也就把车停在那里了。 纳帕的市中心不太大，只有几条街的路可走，而第一街应该是最聚人气和最兴旺的街道。 望到不远处有很多人，我们也就向前方走去。

After walking a short block, I saw a very distinctive Japanese restaurant there, with Chinese characters 英子. Many people on the Internet recommended eating Bento box, and I remember this restaurant was one of them. I told my husband of it, and he said, let's go in and try it.

才走了短短的几步路，就见到一家外面挺有特色的日本餐厅，中文写着英子。 我跟身边人说网络上有很多人介绍这家的Bento box, 应该挺不错，他说那我们进去试试。

The front desk asked if we would mind to sit in the open area. I didn't understand what he said at the time until I saw that some seats were separated from the next table by transparent plastic panels. I have not seen any restaurant still retains these partitions anymore but this one, which is very good.

The two of us each ordered a Bento box, mine was King Salmon, and he ordered a teriyaki chicken. After waiting for about ten minutes, the waiter brought two bowls of miso soup with a little seaweed and tofu in it. It was hot and delicious. After a while, the waiter brought us our Bento boxes, which contained some lettuce, two California rolls, a chicken dumpling, and some white rice.

我们两个各叫了一个Bento box, 我的是King Salmon, 他要了一份teriyaki chicken。 等了十分钟左右，waiter 端来了两碗miso soup, 里面有一点紫菜和豆腐，热热的， 很好喝。过了一会儿，waiter 又端来了我们各自的Bento box, 里面还有一些生菜，两粒California rolls, 一个鸡饺，一些米饭。

I first tasted the King salmon fillet. It is so fresh and juicy, eating with Teriyaki sauce, it is so tasty. I shared half of the salmon fillet with him. Of course, I also took a piece of chicken from him and put it in my mouth. Why was the Teriyaki chicken made by this restaurant so delicious? I have eaten Bento box in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, and the capital of California, and I still think this one is the best.

My friend said that the oysters there are very delicious, and they were from the nearby oyster farm. My husband didn’t want to go there at first, because he didn’t eat raw oysters, but after he saw some other seafood meals on the Internet, he said he wanted to try the seafood restaurant next time.
