Plan a Trip to Las Vegas

My parents are living in Los Angeles, I live in Northern California, so I only visit them couple times a year. I have booked the air ticket to visit them next month. Couple days ago, I chatted with mom, and she told me that dad and her had not been to Las Vegas for years. I said why didn’t we go to visit Vegas in March.

I know Las Vegas quite well because I went there many times. At the time I lived in LA, I went with my friends there to enjoy good food, watching shows, and shopping. For gambling, it seemed it’s not our purpose to go there, one hundred limit.

I still went there at least once a year even though I moved to Northern California. Vegas is the city that would offer a lot and other places don’t have. Having a nice buffet in a casino, watching a fountain show on the Las Vegas Blvd Strip, shopping in South or North Outlets, driving to Red Rocks National Park, or even walking around in Downtown are fun.

Dad is already 82 years old. He is no longer walking that well, others are still considering ok, so I should have no problem to take him there. Mom is much younger than dad. She is dad’s caretaker for a whole time. If I take them to Vegas, mom can have a short break and enjoy a good time with us.

This trip means a lot to me because my parents are so old already. I really don’t know how many times I still can take them to somewhere having fun. Mom always used her own experience and told me treasuring the time parents alive, so I would not regret later. I plan to book a very nice hotel for them to stay and take them out to eat nice foods, so they can really enjoy and have a memorable vacation with me this time.

My parents worked very hard raising three of us, they gave all the loves to us, especially me, and they never asked anything for return. For them, willing to spend time and having fun with them is the best return. Be a daughter, I always love them and wish them healthy, and once for awhile enjoy a nice vacation with them.
