Throwback to Vivid Sydney – A Night Full of Lights

A few months ago, Vivid Sydney took over the city once again. This festival happens every year and goes for almost a month, filling Sydney with art, music, and most of all, amazing lights. During the event, I went to see it a couple of times, and every visit felt different and special.

The biggest highlight of Vivid is always the light shows across several of Sydney’s landmarks, especially the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. All of these famous landmarks were covered in colors, patterns, and moving designs. Every few minutes the pictures would change, and it felt like the buildings were alive.

One of the best parts of my Vivid experience was going on a cruise at night. From the water, the whole city looked incredible. The Harbour Bridge shone in purple, the Opera House was covered in moving pictures, and the city skyline reflected neon colors on the water. It was like seeing Sydney with new eyes, as it was brighter, more playful, and more creative than usual.

Even though the event has finished, I wanted to share some of the photos I took. For me, these pictures are small reminders of how beautiful the city looked during the festival. Hopefully, they can also give you an idea of why Vivid Sydney is such a special event for locals and visitors alike.
