Panoramic View of Green Rice Fields and Hills

I hope you are all well and having an awesome day in this second week of 2024. For me, things are still going on as before with no significant changes. But still, I'm grateful for what I have and what I'm currently living.
This time around, let me share that gratitude through some photos I took this afternoon. After returning from work, today I took the time to wander the town around before heading back home. My destination this time is Lampisang village, which offers a scenic view.
The scenic view that I am referring to is the rice fields that stretch on the right and left sides of the road, coupled with the hills that rise so solidly as its background. Several huts were also seen scattered at several spots. These simple buildings are usually used by farmers for sheltering when the weather is too hot, or just to have a break after doing activities in the rice fields. The shape and size of the huts are relatively the same, the only difference is the roof and the front.
All the rice looks so green and not too tall yet, indicating that the farmers haven't planted it for too long. In some rice paddy plots, the rice is also sparsely planted, suggesting that the plots have been planted longer than others. This is usually done by farmers so that they can harvest partially and ensure that the rice stock will be stable and not suddenly overloaded.
Several houses have been built in front of the dredged cliff. To be honest, one of the things I hope for in my retirement years is to have a house surrounded by something lush like this. But still, of course, I don't want the buildings that I will build later to damage the existing environment.
Besides the beautiful natural scenery, another thing that caught my attention was the presence of the little egret. With its white body and as it walked along the lush green rice fields, it looked very contrasting. I immediately pointed my camera to capture the moment.
At the same time, I also saw a farmer walking with his bright red shirt, which seemed to show that he did not want to lose the contrast with the little egret that I found. He was walking leisurely along the rice fields, tucking his scythe between his hands and body. His distinctive straw hat also made him iconic to me.
After spending about 20 minutes enjoying this scenic panorama, the sky began to darken as it was getting dusk. I finally packed up my camera and headed for my motorcycle to return to my living quarters.
