Visiting Empuriabrava and its marina (Part 3)

The more we explore this beautiful marina, the more it feels like we’re dreaming with our eyes open. The homes are stunning, often luxurious, with manicured gardens that open right onto the canals. The network of waterways creates a more-than-pleasant, almost surreal landscape, and probably brings a real sense of peace… at least as long as the flow of boat-borne tourists stays manageable.

Because even here, in the heart of this idyllic setting, perfection has its limits. When the canals turn into aquatic highways, the charm can quickly fade. Just goes to show—nothing is ever completely perfect in this world.

Plus nous découvrons cette très belle marina, plus nous avons l’impression de rêver les yeux ouverts. Les demeures sont superbes, souvent luxueuses, avec des jardins soignés qui bordent directement les canaux. L'entrelacs de ces mêmes canaux crée un paysage plus qu'agréable, presque irréel, et doit offrir une belle sensation de calme… du moins tant que l'afflux de touristes en bateaux reste raisonnable.

Car même ici, au milieu de ce décor idyllique, la perfection a ses limites. Quand les canaux se transforment en autoroute aquatique, le charme peut vite se diluer. Comme quoi, rien n’est jamais totalement parfait en ce bas monde.
