The castle of La Roche-Guyon (Part 2)

While visiting, we always learn things. This is how, now, I know that La Roche-Guyon is the only village in the region to have been awarded the label of "Most Beautiful Village of France."
This encourages us to gain some elevation in order to admire the whole view. Let's head to the top of the keep, which emerged from the ground in 1190 and is the visible part of an invisible fortress, sculpted into the cliff!

En visitant, l'on apprend toujours des choses. C'est ainsi que, maintenant, je sais que La Roche-Guyon est le seul bourg de la région à avoir reçu le label de "Plus beau village de France".
Cela nous incite donc à prendre de la hauteur afin de pouvoir admirer l'ensemble. Direction le sommet du donjon, sorti de terre en 1190 et partie émergée d'une forteresse invisible, façonnée dans la falaise !

La Roche-Guyon est vraiment un très beau village avec un château qui sort de l'ordinaire car adossé à la roche. Pas trop chaud au Canada, car en France c'est l'étuve 😉. A+
Non au Québec, on a un été très pluvieux, 2 jours de soleil, 2 jours de pluie. C'est dans l'Ouest que ca brule pas mal. J'ai vu que le "Dôme de chaleur" est bien installé sur certains départements
