We continue our visit to this museum, admiring the different artworks, even masterpieces, that are presented to us. There's not much else to say except to admire! 😉

Nous continuons notre visite de ce musée en admirant les différentes œuvres, voire chefs d'œuvres, qui nous sont proposés.

"The Tower of Babel" by Abel Grimmer. This biblical city is a symbol of a unified humanity.
"La Tour de Babel" par Abel Grimmer. Cette cité biblique est le symbole d'une humanité unifiée.


"Saint John the Baptist." This painting was likely conceived around 1508 and preserved by Leonardo da Vinci to continue its pictorial execution until his death in 1519, where it remains unfinished.
"Saint-Jean Baptiste". Ce tableau fut conçu probablement vers 1508 et conservé par Léonard de Vinci pour en poursuivre l'exécution picturale jusqu'à sa mort en 1519 où il reste inachevé !

The only remaining armor of François I. An armor he never wore!
Indeed, this armor was commissioned by Ferdinand I, the future Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, as a diplomatic gift, but the truce was broken and the king never received his armor!
It goes to show that one learns many fascinating things while visiting museums.
La seule armure restante de François 1er. Armure qu'il ne porta jamais !
En effet, cette armure fut commandée par Ferdinand 1er, le futur empereur du Saint-Empire romain germanique, en guise de cadeau diplomatique, mais la trêve fut rompue et le roi ne reçut jamais son armure !
Comme quoi l'on apprend plein de choses originales en visitant les musées.


"The Call to Arms" by Auguste Rodin (1906). It depicts a dying soldier whose body is twisted with emotion, united with a winged figure of Victory.
"L'Appel aux armes" par Auguste Rodin (1906). Un soldat mourant dont le corps est tordu par l'émotion est uni à une figure ailée de la Victoire.

Effectivement. Et ils investiguent quoi ? Tu as utilisé un code spécifique ? En tout cas, les pauvres canassons devaient bien souffrir pour porter de tels poids.

Je suppose qu'ils n'aime pas que j'ai inclus la forme plurielle avec les parenthèses ... Ces parenthèses, selon moi, font craindre à un code malveillant à leur algorithme, qui nécessite d'être affiné selon moi...

Hi, thanks for your patience.

The comment was triggered by the text eval(aux) contained in your message. It's used to unsafely execute a string as Javascript. So yes, a false positive in this case.

The downvote trail is triggered automatically on every downvote of mine. As you can see it's only 1% so the damage is tiny (it's about $ 20 instead for a 100% dv).

  • Payout fixed:

  • The suspicious message is downvoted so that it gets at the bottom of all comments in a crowded post. In case of phishing, that way fewer users will see it.

  • My auto-reply has a tiny upvote in case the potential scammer/hacker has multiple replies to their post/comment. That way my reply is at the top.
