Découverte de Saint-Martin-de-Londres (Partie 1)

Je vous rassure, ce village médiéval ne se trouve pas en Angleterre mais bel et bien en Occitanie, dans l'Hérault.
Alors pourquoi ce nom de Saint-Martin-de-Londres ? Cela serait dû aux terrains marécageux et desséchés du coin dénommés dundras en patois local. Par déformation, dundras est devenu Londres.

Ce village typiquement languedocien, situé à environ 25 kms de Montpellier, compte un peu moins de 3.000 âmes et est proche du Pic Saint-Loup.
