The magnificent Orthodox Cathedral "Resurrection of Christ" in Tirana, Albania, is a remarkable religious structure that represents both the Orthodox heritage of the region and the revival of Orthodox faith in the country.
Like any Orthodox cathedral, the "Resurrection of Christ" is rich in symbolism. Frescoes, which I found beautiful, icons, and other decorative elements are used to narrate biblical stories and convey Orthodox theological teachings.

La magnifique Cathédrale Orthodoxe "Résurrection du Christ" de Tirana, en Albanie, est une structure religieuse remarquable qui représente à la fois l'héritage orthodoxe de la région et le renouveau de la foi orthodoxe dans le pays.
Comme toute cathédrale orthodoxe, la "Résurrection du Christ" est riche en symbolismes. Des fresques, que j'ai trouvées magnifiques, des icônes et d'autres éléments décoratifs sont employés pour narrer des histoires bibliques et véhiculer des enseignements théologiques orthodoxes.

Two years ago, I spent my summer vacation in Albania, in Durres and Valona.
Albania is really a tourist destination with a lot of potential, but only to solve excessive crowds in the peak season 🙂
Tirana is a big, modern city, with a lot of historical sites, and the only complaint I would make is that they brought the objects of modern architecture too close to some historically important objects.
I didn't enter this Orthodox church, it was closed when I passed by it, and it looks really futuristic, maybe too much for my taste, for a church 🙂
