A Wonderful Journey to Japan (Part 73)

We leave Sapporo and head to Osaka. The flight, smooth and pleasant, gives us a moment of rest before discovering the next stage of this journey carefully planned by our son.

Upon arrival, a wonderful surprise awaits us: he has booked us a room at the Conrad Osaka, an exceptional hotel perched on the upper floors of the Nakanoshima Festival Tower. Located on the 40^th floor, it towers over the city and offers a breathtaking view of all Osaka.

Not being used to staying in such places, we were stunned when the elevator doors opened to reveal this dizzying panorama. The feeling of floating above the city was striking — unsettling at first, but absolutely unforgettable.

Nous quittons Sapporo pour rejoindre Osaka. Le vol, paisible et agréable, nous offre un moment de répit avant de découvrir une nouvelle étape de ce périple soigneusement organisé par notre fils.

À l’arrivée, une très belle surprise nous attend : il nous a réservé une chambre au Conrad Osaka, un hôtel d’exception perché dans les derniers étages de la Nakanoshima Festival Tower. Situé au 40^ème étage, il domine la ville et offre une vue à couper le souffle sur tout Osaka.

Peu habitués à séjourner dans de tels lieux, nous avons eu un choc en voyant les portes de l’ascenseur s’ouvrir sur ce panorama vertigineux. L’impression de flotter au-dessus de la ville était saisissante. Une sensation troublante mais absolument inoubliable.
