A Wonderful Journey to Japan (Part 42)

Our son guides us to the Nakabashi Bridge, a beautiful traditional Japanese bridge spanning the Miyagawa River. It is particularly recognizable due to its iconic red railings, making it a favorite spot for photographers. I can imagine that in spring, with the cherry blossoms in bloom, it must get quite crowded!

This bridge connects to the historic district of Sanmachi Suji, where you can wander through traditional shops and local markets. It also serves as a great starting point to explore the picturesque alleyways of Takayama, where history and modernity blend seamlessly... but that’s for the next post 😉.

Notre fils nous guide vers le pont Nakabashi , un magnifique pont traditionnel japonais qui enjambe la rivière Miyagawa. Il est particulièrement reconnaissable grâce à ses rambardes rouges emblématiques, ce qui en fait un lieu de prédilection pour les photographes. J'imagine qu'au printemps, avec les cerisiers en fleurs, la grande foule doit être au rendez-vous !

Ce pont relie le quartier historique de Sanmachi Suji, où l'on peut flâner entre les boutiques traditionnelles et les marchés locaux. Il constitue également un excellent point de départ pour explorer les ruelles pittoresques de Takayama, où l’histoire et la modernité se mêlent harmonieusement ... mais ce sera pour le prochain post 😉.
