A little detour through La Ciotat (Part 1)
La Ciotat is a town we particularly enjoy, and every time we pass through the South, it’s one of our must-visit stops.
This time, we had the pleasure of stopping there at the end of 2024, taking advantage of the always-pleasant climate. Under a brilliantly blue sky and with generous sunshine, the town greeted us with a warm atmosphere, even in the middle of winter. The streets were filled with the festive ambiance typical of Provence, where the end-of-year decorations added an extra touch of magic.
Strolling along the harbor, admiring the boats rocked by a gentle sea breeze, wandering through the picturesque streets with their colorful facades... everything invited us to relax and marvel. The Christmas traditions of Provence were in full swing: handcrafted nativity scenes, elegant lights, and gourmet markets. Everything we could have hoped for!
La Ciotat est une ville que nous apprécions particulièrement, et à chaque passage dans le Sud, elle fait partie de nos escales incontournables.
Cette fois-ci, c’est en fin d’année 2024 que nous avons eu le plaisir d’y faire halte, profitant ainsi d’un climat toujours agréable. Sous un ciel d’un bleu éclatant et un soleil généreux, la ville nous a offert un visage chaleureux, même en plein hiver. Les rues étaient animées par une ambiance festive typiquement provençale, où les décorations de fin d’année apportaient une touche de magie supplémentaire.
Flâner sur le port, admirer les bateaux bercés par une légère brise marine, déambuler dans les ruelles pittoresques aux façades colorées… Tout nous invitait à la détente et à l’émerveillement. Les traditions de Noël en Provence étaient bien présentes : crèches artisanales, illuminations élégantes et marchés gourmands. De quoi totalement nous satisfaire.
