Hello dear Geek Zone readers, I would like to introduce you a new electronic item I just bought for use in the kitchen. It was a product I wanted to buy for a long time and when I saw it in the IKEA online store, I wanted to order it. Our cargo arrived quickly and I got my new kitchen scales.

It came one-piece product out of the box with a small instruction manual and there was no other cable as it was battery operated.

If you are thinking of buying a kitchen scales , I attach link to the product you can look here. I hope the link works in your country.

I wanted to test whether the kitchen scales is working correctly and I want to show you while doing this. First, after switching on the kitchen scales , I weighed a banana.

It measured the banana to be exactly 112 grams. I then took a glass bowl and measured this.

The weight of the glass bowl was 232 grams and then I "took the tare" and put the banana in the bowl.

Normally, it should have measured 112 + 232 = 344 grams, but since I had taken the tare, it only showed 112 grams, which is the weight of the banana itself. So I made sure that it showed me the correct result. As someone who pays a lot of attention to measurement while cooking in the kitchen, I think I will use this product frequently. It will be an indispensable part of our kitchen bench.

I had some problems in my mind about kitchen scales cleanliness until @elwnyx told me how she used her kitchen scales to make D&D dice. She wrapped the kitchen scale with cling film to keep it clean and unaffected by substances such as paint. I will do the same when using it in the kitchen.

Measuring contagious solids like flour or liquids like milk or oil, even with a container, may cause me to stain the kitchen scales. Even if it doesn't, I will have to wipe the kitchen scales constantly because I pay attention to cleanliness, but these tools should not come into contact with liquids too much. Therefore, I think I can constantly change the cling film I cling film on it. Thus, this problem will be solved.

I bought this kitchen scales for 200 Turkish liras, that is, about 11 dollars, the price is affordable. Although it is not a very necessary tool, I think it will provide me convenience. If you need it, maybe this post can encourage you to buy it. Honestly, I am glad that I bought it, especially in dessert and pastry recipes, it was something I needed a lot, I am glad I bought it. Thank you for reading this far, I hope you will find what I have shared here useful.

As I buy technological products, I will be trying to share with you here, take care of yourself for now, goodbye friends.

Thank you for reading.
